Feast of Tabernacles

Also called the Festival of Shelters, is a celebration where the Hebrews would leave their homes to live in tents, or booths, for seven days. This feast was to commemorate their journey while in the wilderness after their escape from Egypt. For them, this was a time of release and redemption (Deuteronomy 31:10). For the poor, every forty-nine years, it was a time of release from slavery, debts, and servitude. Revelation 20 speaks of a coming millennium when Yeshua will rule the nations with the help of His royal priesthood.
